Summer 2027 / Staff & coaches

The people behind the next rep.

Two teams, one development plan. HardballHQ brings the mental-performance work; Hazer Baseball brings the daily baseball instruction and competition.

Meet the staff

One program / two disciplines

Different lanes. Shared language.

The summer program keeps mental performance, physical preparation, and baseball instruction in the same conversation. Start with the team you want to know, then see how the pieces fit together.

01 / HardballHQ

The mental game belongs in the room.

HardballHQ gives players a practical way to understand pressure, communicate through it, and build a response they can use when the game speeds up.

Eric Batchler

Mental performance coach / author / program administration

Eric helps athletes, parents, and coaches build the mental skills to handle pressure, manage adversity, and keep moving toward the next rep. His Capacity work gives the summer program a shared language for the stressors that affect performance on and off the field.

02 / Hazer Baseball

Baseball instruction with somewhere to go.

Hazer Baseball keeps the summer grounded in the game: position work, conversations, competition, and feedback that players can recognize when the pressure is real.

01

Jim Hayes

Baseball director / coach

As a player, coach, scout, and agent at every level of baseball, Jim brings a full view of the game to the summer program. He connects daily instruction to the decisions and demands players face in competition.
